1 star review due to 2 hour opening window at a time where people are working. I work 8-5, how does it make sense to have a collection window of 8am-10am. Appalling.

One star due to 8 till 10am opening times. What good is that as everyone at work. It need to be 3 till 5pm so we have a chance to collect parcels. I get you don't want to work all day but at least be open when customers can come.Had the choice between delivery services. Wrong one ?

After a ‘missed’ delivery when there was someone to collect it, returned to this office. Only to find a small 2 hour window to pick up my parcel which can’t be done as I’m working at this time. Nice job Royal Mail

Useless. Only open between 8 and 10am when nobody apart from unemployed people can actually get there. Rarely knock, always leave a card, never try to redeliver. I always choose alternative carriers, and dread it when people send anything to me via RM.

Staff have generally been very helpful but not neccesarily what you would term friendly. Parking can be an issue depending on what time you visit. Its is however a parcel collection office so the service is perfectly acceptable.

Shilton is the only place I've lived where regular issue's arise with the post. Every couple of months there is a least 1 problem with missing post. Most recent being March 2022: I received a text confirming that my item was sent on the 3rd, 1st class post, apparently delivered on the 4th, which I never received. A replacement was then sent out on the 14th, 2nd class, and I received it on the 16th with the bottom of the box open (item was in it however). I've also had birthday cards go missing as well as parcels that I have personally posted parcels at the Premier store in town (This has happened twice in 7 years) and they have not been received by the recipient. These issues really need to be looked into.

Post is usually pretty good but in my opinion the Royal Mail sorting office is unfit for purpose. With more properties being built each year mote pressure is put on the humble postman.

What is with these opening times? You book a parcel or whatever in online for tracked 24 and the only place local you can send it from is here but good luck dropping it off when they are nearly always closed or open for 1-2 hours a day! What the hell?
