AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!! Received a card through the letterbox after the driver failed to knock even though I was home. By default and most likely to avoid them taking it off the van, a 2nd delivery was attempted the following day. I was home until lunch time but couldn't wait any longer so missed the 2nd attempt which allegedly arrived in the early afternoon. Despite this, the terms on their website don't permit re-scheduled deliveries within 48 hours of the original attempt, so regardless of their 2nd effort, the earliest I could have had the package delivered would have been after the weekend on the Monday. UNFORTUNATELY, and this is the crux of the matter, the tracking on the card only works on the ParcelForce website to track the item, booking a re-delivery is now via the RoyalMail website and where the reference isn't recognised! To date I have requested 2 re-deliveries online (leaving the reference block blank), and as these never came to fruition I then spent a total of 1.5hrs on the phone (1hr 20 on hold), to speak to an operator who gave me firm assurances the parcel would be delivered today - a full 7 days after the original attempt. I have now taken a day off work and typing this as I am on hold for a 2nd time (currently at 1hr and counting), as it is nearly 3pm and the tracking on the website still says at the Depot and not out for delivery. Had the parcel been delivered today, they may just about have salvaged neutral review, but as I am currently left in limbo, with no suitable dates to re-deliver it looks like I will have the cost and inconvenience of driving to Shrewsbury to collect with no guarantees the package will be available when I arrive. Shrewsbury is best part of a 2hr round trip and crosses two counties from where I live. It also costs about £15 in fuel to get there. I will update this review once the matter is concluded but as I am currently in limbo and on the receipt of such abysmal service in person, online and via telephone it's a thoroughly deserved ZERO STARS* AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! For what it's worth I typically ship via Evri and have experienced about a 1 in 500 failure rate. I've only had dealings (items received) three times with Parcelforce this year and the failure rate is currently 1 in 3. ***Update 1*** After a further 1.5hrs on the phone I finally got through to a call centre operator (whom I was polite to). He initially advised me the parcel had been lost (which I believe is codeword for too lazy to look). He then supposedly checked with Shrewsbury and saw some notes to advise the package had leaked/been disposed of. It's all very suspect as only the other day they supposedly didn't even know what it looked like and IF there was a leak, liquid contents only comprised maybe 10% of the package and was all Brand New/Sealed/In box. Rather than wait for updates which could be yet more nonsense and lies, I'm going to take yet more time out of my schedule to go and see them myself. This is an absolute Parcel FARCE!

Multiple times there has been delays for zero reason . There is absolutely zero ways of contacting anyone as the phone just stays on hold for an hour. According to tracking my current package has been there for 3 days and I'm supposed to be getting a card through but there has been zero contact from them. Absolute joke of a company.

Clear instructions given for delivery, took it back 3 times and we had to do a 2.5hr round trip to pick our package up from the depot, the nearest post office is at the bottom of our road, could have easily dropped off there for us to collect,

Absolute joke these clowns several times I’ve had an issue with these circus freaks and kept my mouth shout time after time this time it takes the mick I sent a parcel express 48 low behold it’s been a month still nothing they deny even tracking exist yet it says we are expecting it I was there when they picked it up Evri are road but jeez Parcelforce is a complete failure 1 star is generous

diabolical courier service, had to go and pick up items just because on two occasions the driver/s couldn't find my house. more like couldn't be bothered. other companies call if they struggle, or have an app where you can take a picture of your house or use what3words. considering parcel force and the post office are virtually the same company why do I get my mail delivered on a daily basis?

They tried to deliver the parcel Friday 9th but my daughter was at work. She went on line to have the parcel taken to the local post office on the 10th but no they tried to deliver on Monday 12th and left a card to say returned to depot so I have just had a 2 hour drive to collect the parcel to find out it’s been taken to our local post office. The driver even put the wrong post code grrrrr Keith was the stupid driver
