Servers very friendly and welcoming. Drinks were cheap. Nice looking pub with large beer garden. Food only served on a Friday. Very busy but not sure if it was because the chef was retiring or is always that busy, we waited about 1hr45 minutes for our order, apparently indoor orders have priority. My meal was sold out, I heard someone else had also ordered the same meal we had to choose something else, I wasn't offered a refund for the difference so went to ask for it after about 10 minutes. Both meals that were eaten were very good. Food and drinks are very good value for money.

Proper village pub like they used to be. All the old memorabilia quaint and charming. You are made to feel welcome as soon as you set foot in the 🚪 whether you are local or just visiting as myself and my husband were. Nice atmosphere, and you can actually have a conversation as there is no loud music playing in the background, just pub banter. Proper no nonsense pub grub sourced locally I would say it tasted so good and very reasonably priced too if you are in the area come here I would totally recommend this place and we will definitely be returning when we are down here again

Did camping 🏕 here August/September 2019 for two nights. The Landlords are a lovely couple and so we're the locals in the bar. Prices were very good back then but food was not served in the pub, by the look of recent customers they do food now? They have a shower unit and a spot for about 8/10 tents ⛺. Toilets at the back of the pub along with a basin to wash dishes and a water tank for dogs 🐕. When I was there, there was a kettle and microwave on a table under the canopy for campers to use. At the time there was a limited amount of pitches with electricity and the rest are non-electric. Would love to come back when I get back into camping again.

Lovely village pub, beautiful interior with a good selection of well-kept ales, didn't personally try the food but the menu looked impressive. Not the easiest to get to but worth the journey!

When they said toilet was in a shed I didn't expect it to be really that a small garden shed with a toilet and the shower (only 1) was in a very slightly bigger shed. However the owners were extremely welcoming and liked the fact you had a small compartment in the fridge which had your pitch number on so you could store sml milk, butter. You could use the communal kettle and microwave too. The pub does not open Mon- Wed so pretty peaceful, pub when open you get to meet some of the locals, very nice. They don't do food however they get someone in on a Friday. Apart from my first 2 days, because of weather the rest of week was glorious.

This was only a quick visit. Good range of real ales and cider available. A popular pub with both locals and visitors.
